How safe is your inflatable? Our Obstacle Course is engineered and certified by registered professional engineers at Magic Jump to meet and exceed all standards of The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Is adult supervision required? YES! A waiver that stipulates that the unit will be used under constant adult supervision is required. All rules are clearly reviewed with clients at delivery. The parent or guardian signs and initials the agreement/waiver at the time of delivery.
How much room do I need for this Obstacle Course? It's BIG! A 18'w by 60'l area should be plenty of room. The area should be level, free of rocks, sticks, ant piles, any sort of debris and contamination and any in-ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not protruding. The unit is 13' tall.
Who sets up the Obstacle Course? Angel Bug personnel will set up the inflatable obstacle course and take it down when we come to pick it up.
How does the obstacle course stay inflated? Angel Bug sets up the unit and inflates the unit with two fully enclosed blower motor units that must stay "on" the entire time the inflatable unit is being used. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. (This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account whenever considering inflatable entertainment.) The blower unit must be located within 50 feet of an electrical outlet.
Do you require a deposit, when is payment due? Upon booking, Angel Bug requires a $50.00 non-refundable deposit by cash, check, money order, PayPal, or credit card through PayPal. The balance of payment is due at the time the unit is set up.
Can I cancel? Yes, you can cancel - we appreciate a 72 hour notice of your cancellation. The $50 deposit is non-refundable.
What is the policy in case of rain or high wind? If the local weather is calling for a 30% or higher chance of rain or winds of 20 mph or more on your reserved day and your unit has not been delivered, Angel Bug will contact you to cancel the reservation, at which time you will be then asked to select another date. It is a safety hazard to utilize inflatable entertainment units in rain or in high winds. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE INFLATABLE IS SET UP. If the inflatable gets wet, everyone should exit the unit and unplug the blower and cover with a tarp. THE UNIT MUST NOT BE USED WHEN WET or WHEN WINDS ARE 20 MPH OR MORE. The unit becomes very slippery and dangerous. Once the rain stops you can remove the tarp, dry the unit with your towels and plug the blower back in to re-inflate the unit. An additional cleaning/drying fee of $250 will be assessed to units that get wet.
Can this unit be set up indoors? Yes, Our obstacle course can be set up inside or outside. You will need to have enough ceiling height to accommodate the unit (at least 15 feet). The unit must not be too near any hot lights, vents or any other fire hazard. Many commercial halls etc. will do just fine.
Can this unit be set up on pavement? Yes & No. The entrance area, and push thru/climb thru gauntlet can be on pavement, but the slide needs to land the challengers onto a soft grassy area outside. Indoors, mats are must be provided for at the end of the slide. The area must be level and smooth, free of obstructions and debris and other structures. Please let us know prior to delivery what surface/environment the unit will be on/in ahead of time so that we can bring the appropriate anchoring system.
Can I set up the obstacle course near my pool? NO! The obstacle course must be set up a safe distance away from a pool or water front. We will evaluate the site to make sure it is safe.
How safe are Angel Bug's inflatables? Our inflatables are constructed with quality and safety in mind. Our units are constructed from durable, lead-free vinyl and interlocking mesh. Our units are equipped with a non-removable list of rules. We also supply recommended guidelines for safe use and a recommended number that should be allowed to use the unit at one time.
