How safe is your inflatables? All of Angel Bug's inflatables are engineered and certified by registered professional engineers at Magic Jump to meet and exceed all standards of The American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Is adult supervision required? YES! A waiver that stipulates that the unit be used under constant adult supervision will require your signature before the unit can be used. All rules are clearly reviewed with clients at delivery. The parent or guardian signs and initials the agreement/waiver at the time of delivery.
How much room do I need? CLICK ON THE UNIT YOU LIKE FOR DIMENSIONS. The area should be level, free of rocks, sticks, ant hills, any sort of debris and contamination and any in-ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not protruding.
Who sets up the inflatable? Angel Bug personnel will set up the inflatable and take it down when we come to pick it up.
How does the unit stay inflated? Angel Bug sets up the unit and inflates the jumper with a fully enclosed blower(s) motor unit that must stay on the entire time the bounce unit is being used. The design of the blower is such that no moving parts are exposed. This is a very important safety feature that you should take into account whenever considering inflatable entertainment for kids. The blower unit must be located within 50 feet of an electrical outlet.
Do you require a deposit, when is payment due? Upon booking, Angel Bug requires a $50.00 non-refundable deposit by cash, check, money order, PayPal, or credit card through PayPal. Remainder of payment is due at the time the inflatable is delivered.
Can I cancel my rental? Yes, you can cancel your rental - we appreciate a 72 hour notice of your cancellation. The $50 deposit is non-refundable.
What is the policy in case of rain or high wind?
WEATHER Cancellation POLICY
Common sense must always play a part in our decisions of whether or not to set up due to certain weather conditions. These are the guidelines which we use to make sometimes tough calls that may possibly effect your event. Please know that we always make decisions with the utmost concern for your Safety and our Liability. Also, please know that we rely on weather experts to make these tough calls. Unfortunately, they are not always reliable. We thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
If the local weather is calling for a 30% or higher chance rain or winds of 20 mph or more or the temperature is forecast to drop below 50 degrees on your reserved day and your unit has not been delivered, Angel Bug will contact you to ask if you want cancel the reservation, reschedule your date, or proceed with caution. It is a safety hazard to utilize the inflatable in the rain or in high winds. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER THE INFLATABLE IS SET UP. If the unit gets wet, everyone should exit, and unplug the blower. THE UNIT MUST NOT BE USED WHEN WET or WHEN WINDS ARE 20 MPH OR MORE. The unit becomes very slippery and dangerous. Once the rain stops you can dry the unit with your towels and plug the blower back in to inflate the unit.
If the chance of rain is 50% or greater, cancellation is automatic. We will not set up.
What if it Rains?
In the Spring/Summer Season there is almost always a chance of rain. If there is a less than 50% chance of rain, please plan on getting your inflatable. Rain is different than thunder storms....We do NOT setup when there is a threat of thunderstorms.
Why? Quite simply, rain and vinyl may mix on a water slide, but jumping and flipping on a wet bouncer can cause serious injuries. While our moonwalks do have a roof, they simply can not stay dry on the inside when wet kids are in and out of them. Your safety and our liability is our main concern.
In the Fall Season the rain policy is different. If there is 30% or higher chance of rain, cancellation is automatic. We cannot set up. When we do not set up, there is NO CHARGE.
Why? Quite simply, we need HEAT to help dry the units out once they have gotten wet, and the cooler temperatures make that very difficult to do. Also, if a unit gets wet and then experiences freezing temperatures before it can be dried, damage to the unit can result.
What if it's too Cold? In the Fall Season the temperature must be 50° or higher before we can deliver, and we must pick up before the temperature falls below 50°. If the temperature is forecast to be at or below 50° during time required for set up, use or tear down, cancelletion is automatic. When we do not set up there is NO CHARGE.
Why? In the summertime when temperatures are very warm, the vinyl gets very soft from the heat(optimum bouncing). In the late fall & winter season the opposite is true; Cold temperatures cause the vinyl to get very hard and stiff (difficult to bounce on) and damage to the units can result from flexing the vinyl. It is also very difficult to pickup & roll vinyl inflatables in cold temperatures. Our employees (setup professionals) also become much more prone to injury when the temperatures get too cold.
What if it's too Windy? In the Spring/Summer Season, wind speeds cannot exceed 20mph, and wind gusts must be considered as well. In Fall & Winter Season, wind speeds cannot exceed 15mph. When we do not set up there is NO CHARGE. Why? This is strictly a safety issue. Even though we anchor your unit securely into the ground, excessive winds can create a real safety issue if they get too high. We must also consider wind chill during fall season if the temperatures are close to the minimum required and the wind is expected.
Can an inflatable be set up indoors? Yes! Our inflatables can be set up inside or outside. You will need to have enough ceiling height to accommodate the unit (see page of the unit you'd like for specific dimensions). The unit must not be too near any hot lights, vents or any other fire hazard. Many commercial halls etc. will do just fine.
Can an inflatable be set up on pavement? Yes & No (see unit specific information) The area must be level and smooth, free of obstructions and debris and other structures. Please let us know prior to delivery what surface/environment the jumper will be on/in ahead of time so that we can bring the appropriate anchoring system.
Can I set up the inflatable near my pool? No. The unit must be set up a safe distance away from a pool or water front. We will evaluate the site to make sure it is safe.
How safe are Angel Bug's inflatables? Our inflatables are constructed by Magic Jump with quality and safety in mind. Our units has the ramp-step for a safe and easy entry/exit and are constructed from durable, lead-free vinyl and interlocking mesh which allows for easy viewing and minimizes the chances of getting entangled. Our units are equipped with a non-removable list of rules. We also supply recommended guidelines for safe use and recommended number of children that should be allowed to use the unit at one time.
